PuraFarms ("we", "us", "our") operates a farm-fresh dairy delivery service based in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, accessible via our website (purafarms.in) and WhatsApp ordering. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, locality/zone, and order history to process and fulfill your orders. If you order via WhatsApp, we also collect your WhatsApp number and message history with our ordering bot to manage your order and subscription.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely for order processing and delivery coordination, subscription management (renewals, frequency changes), customer support and order-confirmation calls, and sending order/subscription updates via WhatsApp (using Meta-approved message templates) and SMS. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Payments
Most orders are Cash on Delivery (COD). We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers. Phone number verification (OTP) is handled via our SMS provider.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections and access controls. We retain your data only as long as needed to fulfill orders, manage your subscription, and meet legal/tax record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your Rights (DPDP Act, 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct or update inaccurate data, request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for non-essential data use (e.g. marketing messages).
